The Mill Hill area of Trenton is steeped in incredible historical significance. I am adding many, many interesting articles and other historic bits and pieces to the "MILL HILL" folder here in the Hamilton Township Library Local History Collection digital database. Above is an interesting example of the story of the Jackson Hotel which was once located on the plot of ground currently occupied by Sacred Heart Parish on South Broad Street. One wonders if today's Jackson Street has any connection to the Jackson Hotel. Perhaps a more informed Mill Hill historian will be able to determine whether that street is named for the political Jackson or the Jackson Hotel.- RALPH LUCARELLA said...
