We could never afford to buy those beautiful, new, and expensive B.F. Goodrich "Silvertown" 600:16 tires back in my teen driving years. Most of us shopped around the local gas stations looking for a bargain on a cheap used tire. This interesting photo brings many pleasant memories of driving past that intersection all those many years ago. A quick look on a "BING" or "GOOGLE EARTH" map will have you scratching your head trying to place this building on the site as it looks today. I think they call it "progress," but on a recent drive through downtown Trenton, all those glass-encrusted buildings reminded me that the Trenton of my youth only remains in my memory and on this website!
