The original R.C. Maxwell-Duke University Library photo above was an overall view of both sides of North Broad Street looking north. I have used the "zoom in" feature of software to look at just the western side. I have enhanced the merchant signs in order to provide clarity. The incredible detail almost makes one feel that we are walking along the sidewalk with these 1930's pedestrians. I am also posting the eastern side of the street in the graphic above.
