1974 MERCERVILLE SCHOOL PTA DINNER DANCE


At just about the same time Judy and I were involved in the PTA at St. Anthony Grammar School, so too were Diana and Carl Amoroso at Mercerville. Here we see the ladies who were the "movers and shakers" of the event p0sing with "Frosty" the snow man.

1934: THE PTA: ALWAYS THERE TO SERVE THE CHILDREN

I can safely lay claim to being a seasoned former PTA member. As a former president of St. Anthony Grammar Schoo PTA, I know the hard work that goes into the fund raisers and also the clean up after our partys. The above graphic assures us that the PTA's in the local area were hard at work.

1936: AREA PARENT TEACHERS' NEWS

800 x 600 RESOLUTION SUGGESTED TO MAGNIFY THE IMAGE.

They have always been there. From the early years when they were generally known as "Mothers' Clubs right up to the time the assumed the name of Parent Teachers Association, local community citizens assisted in fund raisers community events, and other activities which were of a benefit to their respective schools.
