1875 AND 1905: WILLIAM YOUNG'S POTTERY

Historical research often relies on speculative observations. Thus it is with the graphic above showing the William Young's Sons Pottery. My very limited research on the subject indicates that the Willets Pottery took over the site of the former Young's Pottery. The map above, was scanned and indicates that the location of these potteries was along the D&R canal, which is today's Rte. 1 Freeway and along Southard Street. Corrections by more knowledgeable visitors welcome.
