As I have indicated many times previous, one of my favorite history projects is archiving material relating to the Italian-American experience in Chambersburg. I have great admiration for the immigrants who struggled through nearly impossible circumstances in order to integrate into American society. Indeed, they could be called role models for 21st century immigrants.

1974 ST. JOACHIM TRENTON CHEERLEADING CHAMPIONS
Here's a nice photo of the girls who went to championship status those 35 years ago. There are many familiar names in that photo. There's pretty Doreen Foley, whom I remember from my years as a member of the St. Anthony/St. Joachim's PTA singing and dancing group, "Kay's Follies."
