1943: HOLY CROSS GIRLS DISPLAY ALL AMERICAN PATRIOTISM DURING WWII

All of our ethnic churches have an incredibly interesting historical heritage. Above is a very interesting photo/article on the young ladies from Holy Cross Church working on their project of sending uplifting mail to their military Holy Cross parishioners during WWII. Patriotism was alive and well in the America of 1943.

Do you have mistakenly mislabled this posting?
Say's Erine Kovac's at Prospect Presbyterian Church", yet it is an article on My National Parish Holy Cross. If I'm not mistaken, Ernie's family belonged to Rev. Dean Becky's Hungarian Reformed Church on the Corner of Beatty, and Grand. Just a few blocks from his familie's "Hungarian Village" bar and Grille on Genesee St. near Hudson.

SORRY FOR THE GAFF, MIKE AND THANKS FOR POINTING OUT THE ERROR. I HAD A BUSY MORNING YESTERDAY AT THE LIBRARY. THREE PEOPLE CAME IN AT DIFFERENT TIMES, AND THE INTERRUPTION RESULTED IN MY MIXING UP GRAPHICS.
