1974: ROYAL OAK GROVE - KUSER ROAD
I remember attending a picnic at Royal Oak back in the late 40's or early 1950's. Back then, Kuser Road was a two lane country road with large farms on both sides. This graphic has been added to my "PARKS AND PLAYGROUNDS" folder and as more information is found, I will be including it. I am also interested in anyone who can recall Vosseller's Grove that was on Watson Avenue back in the 1930's I remember it well, but never got to go to a picnic there. Vosseller's was basically a German-American picnic ground. I do seem to recall going to Kuser School with a young and very pretty blonde girl name Pauline Schmidt, who I think lived in the Vosseller area.
