1936: PTA ACTIVITIES IN THE HAMILTON TOWNSHIP SCHOOLS
They started out as "Mothers' Clubs" in the earlier part of the 20th century, and morphed into an organization which has been an integral part of grammar and high schools. Here is a list of some of the local Hamilton PTA activities going on in Mom and Grand mom's generation.

Reading the information regarding the Rowan-Willey PTA reminds us of how community service is often a family activity. Mrs. William Dyott and Mrs. David Schaaf's husbands were Rusling Hose Company Chiefs. Mrs Emma Werner was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
