The original Methodist Church in Trenton was located on the corner of North Broad and Academy Streets back in the 1800's. As the number of communicants increased, it became necessary to build a larger church. The above church replaced the old church on Academy Street and was re-located to the site of the present building on So. Broad Street. The post following this tells of the new church which replaced the one in the photo above.

1922: THE OLD FIRST M.E. CHURCH
The original Methodist Church in Trenton was located on the corner of North Broad and Academy Streets back in the 1800's.
