1898: The Trenton Times' Cox Printing Press

Many of the graphics on my website were printed on the printing press above. We are very fortunate in the Mercer area to have a newspaper with such the rich heritage of the Trenton Times and its predecessor newspapers. Throughout this website, countless articles have been extracted from the Trenton Times, Trenton Evening Times, the Trenton Sunday Times Advertiser, The Daily State Gazette, and The Daily True American newspapers in my collection.Back in the 1950's and 60's, most libraries destroyed the original volumes due to the fact that they took up too much space. Most opted for microforms, or as more commonly referred to, microfilm. Most of the aforementioned newspapers were sent to the recycle bin. Thankfully, those in my collection have survived and are being shared with the community via the miracle of digital imaging.
