BROMLEY TAX REVOLT

THEY WERE ABOUT TO FORM THEIR OWN BOROUGH AND SECEDE FROM HAMILTON
TOWNSHIP. AS A RESIDENT OF BROMLEY FOR MORE THAN 45 YEARS, I MUST ADMIT THAT I SOMETIMES WONDER IF THE TOWN FATHERS GIVE AS MUCH ATTENTION TO BROMLEY AS THEY DO TO "BRIAR WOODS," HAMILTON SQUARE, YARDVILLE, AND THE MORE AFFLUENT AREAS OF HAMILTON. A RIDE DOWN MY ATLANTIC AVENUE HOME AFTER A HEAVY RAIN WILL REVEAL HUGE PUDDLES ALONG THE CURB WITH LITTER FLOATING ON THE WATER. THE STANDING WATER ALONG THE ENTRANCE WAY TO MY DRIVEWAY HAS RUINED THE CONCRETE ENTRY TO MY DRIVEWAY AND LEECHED INTO THE MAIN DRIVEWAY. MANY YEARS AGO, I MADE NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO HAVE THE SITUATION ALLEVIATED. I WAS TOLD THE PROBLEM WAS "IN ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT."
