1940: THE GIANT TIGER SUPERMARKET

AT LEAST FIVE PEOPLE CONTACTED ME AND ASSURED ME THAT THE GIANT TIGER SUPERMARKET THAT I WROTE ABOUT IN MY JUNE 9TH "SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY" TRENTON TIMES COLUMN WAS NOT ON NORTH OLDEN AVENUE BUT ON CALHOUN STREET, NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF PRINCETON AVENUE. IF ANY VIEWERS OF THIS SITE WERE AMONG THOSE WHO POINTED OUT WHAT THEY THOUGHT WAS AN ERROR, PLEASE SEE THE GRAPHIC. THIS GIANT TIGER PRECEEDED THE GIANT TIGER WHICH WAS LOCATED ON CALHOUN STREET.
CHECK OUT THOSE PRICES!

Greetings sir,

Just to corroborate with the 1940 Ad you've displayed. I'm looking at the September 1941 issue of the Jewish War Veterans Poster (Trenton Post 156) and in a listing it refers to the "Giant Tiger -- North Olden Avenue". Have a nice day!

HI JOSH:

THANKS FOR VISITING MY BLOG. IF YOU CHECK FURTHER, YOU WILL SEE THAT THE GIANT TIGER WAS ON ST. JOE'S AND NORTH OLDEN AVENUE. GO TO THE "SEARCH BLOG" AREA IN THE UPPER LEFT OF MY HOME PAGE, TYPE IN GIANT TIGER, CLICK ON THE MAGNIFYING GLASS AND IMMEDIATELY LOOK ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF MY HOME PAGE AT THE GREEN PROGRESS BAR. ARROW DOWN THE HOME PAGE AND ALL REFERENCES TO THE GIANT TIGER WILL BE DISPLAYED. YOU WILL SEE THAT THE ADDRESS IS CORRECT. USE THE KEY WORD GIANT TIGER.
