That would be looking to the east. Strange to see the Casa Lido back then. One of my grandfathers homes would have been almost across the street. The Casa Lido was a favorite lunch spot for state workers in the 60's and 70's after the L&I and Ag complex was built. Of note Tom, since you often comment on the configuration of the town, those three buildings were supposed to represent a "birthday party" with the Health and Labor building as "presents" and the Health Lab (the round building), as a cake. The other buildings have a ribbon on top and the lab has "candles". It was all for the bicentennial celebration back in the 60's.

So there was a "DE LUXE" Diner on State and then this on Warren. Gotta' wonder how many people were sitting and tapping their watches waiting for their lunch dates?
