1933: REMEMBERING HOOPER PAINT

A very familiar store to those of us who are over 70 years of age. The Hooper paint store at 8 South Warren Street served the community for nearly 100 years. I remember numerous trips to E.F. Hooper with Fred Kuser as he stocked up on paint for his Hamilton home. Mr. Hooper passed away in 1966. The store was taken over by the M.A. Bruder paint company ("MAB").

Hi Tom: My mother, Sarah Hutchinson Logan did commercial art for Hooper Paint and my Uncle George Logan worked there for many, many years. Oh, what great memories you supply me. Many thanks and warmest regards.
