1920's: R.A. DONNELLY

F.W. AND R.A. DONNELLY: Two legendary Trenton haberdashers back during Trenton's golden years. My family could never afford to shop at those two upscale clothing stores. The beautiful store front R.C. Maxwell photo brings back memories of that great old retail outlet. The graphic on the right is the oldest I could find in my search for the genesis of the establishment.

Tom, My dad and my grandad bought their clothes in these establishments. Dad was into tweed jackets and always looked great. I still have several of the wooden suit hangers with the Donnelly name on them. I know they take up more room than the newer ones, but the name always brings back good memories.

Tom - Any possibility of showing the beautiful front of F W Donnelly's Men's Shop on West State St? I worked there at Christmas shopping time and summer sales while attending Trenton State in the 60's.
