1934: TRENTON HIGH vs CATHEDRAL

There's that recurring name "Jiggs" Corrado again. I remember the "grownups" talk about him when I was a boy. There were "Jiggs" in my memory bank: Corrado and Arena....and don't miss George Case, a local Trenton boy who went on to be a hero with the Washington Senators. In later life, many older visitors will remember Case's Sporting Goods store.

Hi Tom: Now you're talking about people that I remember well. All the players on both these teams were around when I was starting to play in the Junior Leagues. I followed their progress and watched their games every chance I got. I practically lived at Wetzel Field during that time and was playing for Junior 4. I got to know George Case after he retired and ran his sporting goods store.

THANKS FOR YOUR INSIGHT, RALPH. BY THE WAY, THE NEWLY FORMED JUNIOR 4
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION MEETS MONTHLY HERE AT THE LIBRARY DURING DAY TIME HOURS. IN FACT, I WILL BE HANDING SOME MORE JUNIOR 4MATERIAL TO GUS PERILLI ON MONDAY WHEN I SEE HIM.

Hi Tom:)
I hope the Jr4 Alumni folks
get something up on the internet,
their recollections and reflections
which would be so important to folks would then have a forum for
all Jr 4 Alumni across the country
to see:)

HI MACK: SORRY TO SAY THAT IN MY PRETTY EXTENSIVE ENCOUNTERS WITH SENIOR CITIZENS OVER THE YEARS, I HAVE FOUND THAT VERY FEW OLDER FOLKS ARE INTO COMPUTING. MY JR. 4 CONTACT IS MY FRIEND, GUS PERILLI, WHO IS AMONG THE OLDER FOLKS WHO DON'T SEEM TO WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO LEARN. IT'S A REAL SHAME. THOSE FOLKS ARE THE ONES WHO WOULD MOST APPRECIATE RE-LIVING THEIR YOUNG YEARS.
