1940: TRENTON'S LINCOLN THEATER "VIGIL IN THE NIGHT" AD CAMPAIGN

Isn't it great when everything comes together to make a complete package? I have a sizeable collection of publicity bulletins which were mailed to the managers of Trenton's many RKO theaters back in 1940. The bulletins are printed on mimeographed sheets under a blue RKO letterhead. Selected bulletins such as the above graphic will eventually be incorporated into the "THEATERS" digital folder at the Hamilton Library Local History Collection.

Hi Tom: The Lincoln Theatre was gorgeous. I saw many outstanding acts on their great stage, including Paul Whiteman. They were the days of vaudeville, that also included the State and the Palace Theatres. The State had three floors, the third floor's admission was 10 cents. Next door to the Lincoln was the Trent Theatre, they had bowling lanes in the basement.
