Here's a photo from the 1960 St. Joachim"A Half Century of Dedication" which honors the 50th anniversary of the arrival of the Sisters Maestre Pie Filippini to America. I was tol by Msgr. McCorristin that I was the first male President of St. Anthony's PTA. I wonder if Mr. Apoldite, President of St. Joachim's PTA claims the same honor.

Hi Tom, I believe Mr. Apoldite was the first male president.
Another
gentleman who was elected president while my son attended St Joachim's in the late 60's and early 70's was Mr. Thomas Moscarello. By the way, Mr. Apoldite's son, Father Dennis is the current pastor of Sacred Heart
Parish in Trenton.
Thanks, Carlo. I am a communicant at Sacred Heart. (Eucharistic Minister, Lector, sometime Usher, and I take Holy Communion to the folks at South Village on Lalor Street and also on Stokeley Avenue every Sunday morning. I will see Father Dennis tomorrow A.M. and tell him I spoke with you.
Tom
Tom, I find it interesting that each of the women are listed as "Mrs" with the husband's name back at that time. Not even by their own first name. How times have changed.
