BACK IN 1938, THE LOCAL PRESS WAS ALIVE WITH ARTICLES AND PHOTOS ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HUGE GENERAL MOTORS PLANT ON PARKWAY AVENUE. REMEMBER ALL THOSE GLASS BRICKS ON THE WALLS OF THAT NOW DEMOLISHED FACTORY?
