2011: A THANK YOU FROM TOM

This blog celebrated its 6th anniversary in November, 2011. We are now in the 7th year, and I think that calls for a hearty "thank you" to all who have made this a stop on your internet surf board. There are now 7,000+ pages ("posts") on this site, and it is growing daily. The table to the left shows the number of daily visits from November 25th through today. On those occasions when this blog is mentioned in my bi-weekly "Sentimental Journey" column, the daily total has risen to 900+ which is a testament to the popularity of the Trenton Times. Thanks to all my visitors. Stay with me, as our educational, historic, and nostalgic quest continues; onward and upward!

NOTE: ON DECEMBER 3, I ADJUSTED THE FINAL DECEMBER 2 TALLY TO 679 VISITS

CONGRATULATIONS TOM FOR THE FINE JOB YOU DO IN BRINGING BACK THE EARLY YEARS OF THE GREATEST GENERATION. WE OLDTIMERS APPRECIATE READING YOUR EFORTS IN RECALLING OUR YOUTH AND THE COMPARISON TO WHAT'S GOING ON IN TODAT'S WORLD. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Mr. Glover: Firstly, I would like to say thank you for such a great website. My name is Kayla Malsbury and I am an urban planning student living in Hamilton. I recently emailed you with some questions regarding Hamilton history and I would love to speak with you about some research I'm doing. If you did not receive it, please feel free to contact me at malsburyk@gmail.com. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. -Kayla

As always, Tom, thank you so very much for keeping me in touch with Trenton. I miss it very much and would be totally lost without your wonderful website. You keep the memories coming. Congratulations on a job well done and best wishes for many, many more years to come. Regards
