1936: WOOLWORTH'S 5 & 10 "LUNCH COUNTER"
WE USUALLY WENT TO THE LUNCH COUNTER AT S.S. KRESGE'S. I COULD NEVER FIGURE OUT WHY HOT DOGS TASTED BETTER WHEN THEY WERE BOUGHT AT THE LUNCH COUNTER AS OPPOSED TO ONE COOKED AT HOME. 'TIS A MYSTERY.
