1955: GLOVER, THOMAS L., U.S. ARMY RA12480163

Well, Fathers' Day is coming, and this elderly father has taken still another journey back to his pre-father years. When my dear wife Judy went to be with the Lord in December, I have very SLOWLY been going through old photos and papers from the very early years of our marriage when we lived in Greenwood Village in our 212 Norman Court apartment which was a mere ten feet from 210 Norman Court where we practically lived our early years of marriage with my second mother, Louise Baird; our Hamilton High School vocal music teacher. Like the sword of Damocles, the specter of compulsory military service hung over all of us teen age boys as soon as we reached the appropriate age to be drafted into Uncle Sam's military.
