This is for you, Sally Logan Gilman. The intersection you and I remember is nowhere near what you see in the Google photo above. John's old diner has been replaced by the large diner you see in the background of the intersection. I think it is called the 3 Peters Diner.
Hi Tom: Thanks for the quick response. They call that a "diner?'' I don't know how long it's been there but it looks like a discount store from the google view.It must be relatively new -- we have not been in Trenton since 2009 so it must have happened since then. ReplyDeleteIt is now known as "Two Peters Diner" and MUCH larger than the old Parkside Diner that reposed on the corner of Parkside and No. Olden Avenue Extension. It was a daily stop for me back in the early 1950's when I worked across the street at the old Trenton Bearing Company at 1812 No.Olden.
