I have been posting numerous photos, articles, and nostalgic ephemera on Facebook, but find that there are apparently spammers, hackers, or other n'er do wells who have caused the founder of that wonderful site to close down. Unfortunately, there is a problem with an "open" website where comments can be posted that are hurtful and offensive. Fortunately, Blogger allows me as Webmaster to remove any spam, junk, foul language, or off color and offensive comments. I am "back home" on this blog and will stay here and concentrate on posting quality historic, nostalgic and very interesting material on Hamilton, Trenton, Ewing, and indeed Mercer County.
Man it really makes me mad that there has to be such garbage on the internet......You keep on doing what you do............I was born in Trenton, and even though was raised across the river in Fallsington, I never tire of the history...My father, and his entire family pretty much settled in Trenton eons ago.......thanks for what you do
ReplyDeleteHi Tom: This is where you belong. We appreciate you and all you do so forget the rest and stick with us.
ReplyDeleteTom, never cared much about FB early on, and I'm finding I like it less each day - mainly because of privacy concerns and some in the crowd it attracts.
ReplyDeleteYou have so much invested here, including a supportive community. Keep 'er goin' if you can! ;-)
Hi Tom,
ReplyDeleteI don't like FB either. For me personally, I don't like sharing my daily life with everyone. As Sally said, we appreciate what you do and how much effort you put into it. This page truly is a high point in my day. After lunch, I go on the website and can't wait to see what is new. You make a lot of us happy. Keep up the good work!
Tommy
