Over
the years, I have written numerous columns dealing with the
Italian-American experience including St. Joachim Church, or as I called
it in a column I wrote long ago, "The Jewel of Chambersburg." Here's an
article from my files describing the celebration of the laying of the
cornerstone on this historic and legendary church.
