The top photo shows a car traveling on Pennington Road and passing a house that has unique architectural features with prominent gables on on the front and side of the roof. A trip there via Google Earth gave me this photo which I propose is the house shown in the 1934 photo with the commercial appendage added in later years. Note that this is speculation on my part, but it sure does look like the same structure I found when I searched Google Earth for "Pennington Road and Parkway Avenue Trenton NJ"
