  1. HI TOM....A GREAT PARK AT A TIME WHEN PEOPLE WERE GOING THROUGH A BAD DEPRESSION AND NEEDED AN ATTRACTION SUCH AS WOODLAWN. I RECALL THE MARATHON DANCES AND RED SKELTON APPEARING AS M.C. MY FAVORITE RIDE WAS THE ROLLER COASTER AND I REMEMBER THE TED LEWIS ORCHESTRA APPEARING. I BELIEVE THE ADMISSION PRICE WAS 10 CENTS. THEN LATER ADDED A SWIMMING POOL THAT WAS ALSO A FAVORITE PLACE. PLEASANT MEMORIES.

  3. Got it all, Ralph. Once again thank you for your inciteful remarks.

While you are at it Ralph, Write to me and tell me how you avoid anonymous. Many visitor would like to sign in but don't know how. You obviously do. Do you choose "NAME/UR:" or "OPEN ID" and if so, what then? I never use it.
