You betcha Tom:
I walked past these wonderful memories heading home from Jr. 4. I was in the 8th grade than. Took Grand St. to School, but always Broad back to JewTown so I could "window shop" in these great stores. Particularly Monte Chico's Harley Davidson whcih can be seen on the right. He was next to an Alley, where the garages in the back was the work shop. Out of site, and to the rear left was Capuano's Quality Fruit & Produce' owned by the family of the most beautiful girl in my life, (at that time) Isabelle Capuano.

1948: SOUTH BROAD AND ANDERSON STREET
Here's a delightfully enlarged extract showing South Broad and Anderson Streets as it looked in 1948. Close examination will show Kudra Furs, and Yelen's Drug Store. I assume a visitor or two will add to the list of merchants' signs in the photo.
