1938: ANOTHER LOCAL EDUCATION LEGEND

This lady is mentioned often in my many hours of mining for local history. Grace Dunn, like my favorite Principal Emily Reynolds was from the old school, where she stood on the firm foundation of a complete education. She was also active in community affairs.

HI TOM....DURING MY DAYS AT JUNIOR 4 IN 1932, 33 AND 34, MISS DUNN HELPED MANY STUDENTS I KNEW WITH PROBLEMS THEY HAD WITH GRADES AND OTHER ACTIVITES. SHE WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO ASSIST STUDENTS AND PARENTS TO MAKE SURE THEY GRADUATED.
