You are right, this is a fantastic photo. I sent you the same one last year, or early this year along with several other photos of South Trenton's "Jew Town"
This Maxwell photo is 10 times better than that which I have. BTW: speaking of Jew Town, Herb Spiegel of the Famous Herman Spiegel fine Furniture family put me onto the "Trenton Jewish Project". A similar column such as your great blog. They have some wonderful photos of people and places along Union, and Market Street. Worth a look.

Hi Mike: I have visited the Trenton Jewish Project. Very nice material and a tribute to those of the Jewish faith. I intend to re-visit on a regular basis as that area of Trenton is of great interest to me.

I was interviewing my aging Mother a few weeks ago and found out my Grandfather and Great Uncle both worked at Stern's. Was looking for pictures, so thank you for this!
