1923: RIKER'S DRUG STORE, STATE AND BROAD STREETS IN TRENTON
As an internet webmaster, I am always careful of copy write infringement and try post source material whenever I generate a graphic. The graphic above cites the holder of the incredible photos from the archives at Duke University, and also the John W. Hartman Center for sales, advertising and marketing history. The lower left "RIKER DRUG STORES" graphic is from a 1913 Trenton Times ad. Who wouldn't love to take a seat on one of those Riker's stools and order a whopping banana split served up in a Victorian era soda fountain? That's what dreams are made of!
