Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Nolan would have had a 4 star pennant hanging from her home at 169 Pennington Avenue. Four of her sons were on active duty during the height of World War II. I have an abiding respect for those brave men and women who sacrificed all for their country during the terrible conflict America was engaged in back during WWII.
