I have never been a beer drinker. However, Trenton Old Stock did have an honored place in the Glover refrigerator those many years ago. The Peoples' Brewing Company on Lamberton and Lalor Streets were the manufacturers of this once-popular local brew. It was a staple at Plaag's Grove in my neighborhood those many years ago.
MY BROTHER CHUCK WORKED AT TRENTON OLD STOCK WHILE HE WAS GOING TO WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY IN NORTH CAROLINA. EACH SUMMER IT WAS ONE OF THE PLACES THAT HIRED COLLEGE KIDS HOME FROM SCHOOL IN THE 1950S.
