1970: WTTM: GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

The late Bill Singer was a friend of mine who left us much too early in life. His sister Nancy introduced Judy and me to him back in the 1960's. Bill had a radio voice that was widely recognized all over the WTTM listening area. He opened up a school for disk jockeys in Trenton and maintained it right up to the time of his untimely death. You are looking at a graphic from an era that has left us. Music on the radio today has largely become a stereophonic nightmare. Cruise the AM dial from 540 to 1700 and you will become a sports expert. Go over to FM and tune 88 through 108 and you will find 90% of the spectrum occupied by music geared to the younger generation, where music takes a back seat to screaming, yelling, in audible lyrics, flashing strobe lights, thunder and lightning. Thank you Lord for MP3 music and MP3 players!
