2009: ROCKY DINATALE'S STOCK CAR HEAVEN

This view of Rocky DiNatale's establishment brings back many pleasant memories of the late 40's and early 50's when Don Slabicki, the late Ernie Plaag and I spent pleasant hours watching the guys at Rocky's getting their stock cars ready for a Saturday night race at Atco, Pittman, or other dirt tracks. I can still see those 37 or 38 Ford business coupes being transformed into speedy stock cars.

  1. The fist home I remember was living above the garage. My parents sold Christmas tress and reefs out front. When I smell car grease, I am transported back.

  2. I remember when you lived there, Janice. You and Ronny were beautiful children. I remember when Rocky took on a line of little golf cart type vehicles back in the 1940's but I can't remember the name of them. Chick took me on a quick local ride with one of them.
