1905: CIVIL WAR VETERANS ATTRITION RATE

WWII members of the greatest generation are passing on at a rate of well over 1,000 per day. The same situation existed in 1905 as the veterans of the Civil War passed on in great numbers.

    Hi Tom:)
    My Civil War Vet Great Great Grandad joined up when he was
    like 15. He was an Irish Famine
    refugee,fought with the Pennsy
    117th & 79th Volunteers, and died
    in 1932.
