1938: May Crowning as St. Joseph's Parish

The lovely ladies in the photo above were repeating a Roman Catholic tradition dating back centuries as the crowned Mary,
the mother of Jesus.

Tom Glover: Hamilton, New Jersey, United States; I am the Hamilton Township Historian at the Hamilton Township Public Library Local History Collection.
