I can't believe the guy staring back at me is the same guy who is entering this post! I was all of 140 pounds, looking at 900 plus days in Uncle Sam's army, and counting each and every one of them. Was I really ever this young?

Tom, I was wondering if Judy still knows your RA number by heart from all the letters she sent you. My husband, Matt, was in the 82nd Airborne during Viet Nam but fortunately never had to go there. His number: RA 12607085. I'll never forget it nor will I forget a couple other things he taught me... how to polish brass and spit shine boots. How he wishes he still had the "obedient" wife he had then.
