1869: MILL HILL'S MESSIAH CHURCH

I HAD HOPED THAT THE DAILY STATE GAZETTE WOULD HAVE CONTINUED WITH THEIR "SERIES OF ARTICLES ON THE CITY OF TRENTON." I HAVE PROGRESSED TO THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY, AND HAVE FOUND NO NEW ARTICLES. I'LL KEEP ON TURNING THE PAGES.
EACH SUNDAY MORNING AS I PASS THAT INCREDIBLY LOVELY AREA OF MILL HILL ENCOMPASSING THE JACKSON-MERCER STREET AREA, I AM TRANSPORTED BACK TO A TIME WHEN TRENTON'S CENTER CITY AREA WAS COMPOSED OF CLEAN AND NEAT NEIGHBORHOODS. PERHAPS A MILL HILL RESIDENT WHO IS A VISITOR TO THIS WEBSITE CAN PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE MESSIAH CHURCH. IF NOT, THE ABOVE ARTICLE STILL PROVIDES FASCINATING AND INTRIGUING READING.
