1930: SOUTHERN AREA OF HAMILTON LACKS WATER

I HAVE ALWAYS WONDERED WHY SOME ENTERPRISING ORGANIZATION DIDN'T HARNESS THE WATER FROM THE NATURAL SPRINGS AT HAMILTON TOWNSHIP'S PORTION OF SPRING LAKE AT WHITE CITY. THERE WAS AN ATTEMPT TO DO JUST THAT BACK IN THE 1800'S, BUT FOR SOME REASON THE PROJECT WAS ABANDONED. PERHAPS A TRENTON-HAMILTON-BORDENTOWN MARSH PERSON KNOWS THE ANSWER. THERE WAS SUPPOSEDLY AN ETERNAL SUPPLY OF SPRING WATER JUST WAITING TO BE PROCESSED.
