1947: THE TRENTON FREEWAY: IN THE BEGINNING

IT WAS A TRULY REVOLUTIONARY MOVE WHEN TRENTON DECIDED TO CUT THE NEW TRENTON FREEWAY ALONG THE BED OF THE CANAL. GREENWOOD AVENUE ONCE EXTENDED ALL THE WAY TO SOUTH BROAD STREET, BUT THE FREEWAY CLOSED
PART OF IT OF AT THE BARLOW CIRCLE AT SO. CLINTON AVENUE.
