1916: HAMILTON VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY

THE GENTLEMAN IN THE PHOTO, PETER DOLAN, WAS ONE OF TWO VERY PROMINENT BROMLEY RESIDENTS. DOLAN, ALONG WITH CHARLES FULKERT WERE LOCAL HOTEL AND RESTAURANT MEN. DOLAN WAS THE PROPRIETOR OF A HOTEL WHICH ONCE STOOD AT THE INTERSECTION OF WHITEHEAD ROAD AND EAST STATE STREET. FULKERT WAS THE PROPRIETOR OF THE LOCALLY FAMOUS BROMLEY INN, NOW OPERATED BY THE ROTH FAMILY.
