MY BOYHOOD HERO!

ALL RIGHT YOU GUYS....ADMIT IT. WHILE THE GIRLS WERE READING NANCY DREW AND OTHER GIRL STUFF YOU HAD A FAVORITE COMIC BOOK CHARACTER. MINE WAS CAPTAIN AMERICA AND
THE GREEN LANTERN. THE COMIC BOOK IN THE GRAPHIC IS FROM THE "GOLDEN AGE" AND WORTH A FORTUNE TODAY.

NOTE THAT THERE WERE 60 PAGES FOR A DIME. TODAY'S VERSIONS ARE A SAD SUBSTITUTE. FAR LESS PAGES AND FAR MORE COST.

  1. Wasn't 60 pages unusual? I seem to remember 52 pages as the standard in the 40s and 50s.
