THOSE OF US WHO ARE CARD-CARRYING OLD TIMERS REMEMBER WHEN IT WAS THE HOME OF THE HAMILTON FIRE CO. WHO ARE NOW IN A NEW BUILDING ADJACENT TO THE BUILDING IN THE PHOTO. WWII 1942 photo of hamilton fire dept, second row all the way to last man on right is Fred Cope, Sr who was my step-grandfather. cope family was an integral part of this fire dept for many many years. Fred Cope Jr, his brothers Richard Cope and Jim Cope were members 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's, my mom Carol Arnold Cope was President of the Ladies Auxilary and my step-grandmother Marion Cope and Step-Aunt Shirley Cope were also members of the ladies auxiliary.
