1870: Druggists Proliferated in Trenton

That mortar and pestle is probably made of pewter. During the latter part of the 19th and early part of the 20th centure there were MANY druggists in the city and surounding area of Trenton. One wonders if this is the predecessor to Adams and Syckles, West State Street in Trenton.
