1931: "AIR YACHTS" at Ewing's Mercer Airport

What a dinosaur! The amphibian airplane which "docked" at Mercer Airport made headlines in the local press. What an incredible picture of a very austere Mercer County Airport!

    I am sure you remember the big fire that leveled the hanger. We spent several days there. I was with the Pennington Road Vol. Fire Department at the time.
