An excellent example of early 20th century fire fighting is pictued in this 1914 photo of Princeton's newest fire fighting acquisition. Another post in the archives section of my website is a group photo of the fire "laddies*" of Princeton's Mercer Fire Co.*The contemporary 19th and early 20th century press often referred to firemen as "laddies."
