Where's the mouse? I was married in 1954. The HUGE computer shown in this graphic was introduced in that year. we have indeed progressed over these 50-plus years. I was wondering what that steering wheel was used for!

I'm guessing the steering wheel could be used by the operator to turn the video monitor on the wall at the right from side to side or up and down.
