1947: Talented pianist Bob Reed

The late Bob Reed was in the class of 1948 at Hamilton High. He was an extremely talented pianist, and was very active in Hamilton High musical programs. Bob's talents were also brought to the public thanks to Dick Chimes and his wonderful band who are very popular in the area. Not only is Dick a classmate from my class of '51 at Hamilton High, his polka music is absolutely OUTSTANDING!

  1. The organ at Hamilton Square Baptist Church has a plaque honoring Bob Reed. He was the organist, choir director and soloist for numerous years. In addition to this, all who knew Bob will remember him for his kindness and wonderful sense of humor.

  2. I, Jennifer Reed, am the youngest grand-daughter of Bob Reed. My grandmother, Audrey, greatly appreciates this short article. Thank you very much. My grandfather was a wonderful man, and he will always be remembered.
